At the beginning of the month, I was contacted by Wonderland Makeup asking if I would like to try out a few of their products. After looking into their brand I was more than happy to! I was sent these products however the opinions are my own and I decided to write this post because I truly think they are great products and deserve a moment in the spotlight!

I have a very love-hate relationship with primers, I think the very first primer I ever tried was the Rimmel Fix & Perfect primer and I instantly thought my makeup would look better but the formula was completely wrong for my skin! I’ve been using makeup for around 7 years now and I have finally worked out what works for my skin. The only primers I have found to work well for me are silicone primers. They don’t make my skin oily, everything just blends perfectly with it and most importantly, stays put! So there’s no surprise that I like this primer! For the past year, I have been in love with the L’oreal Infallible Primer and this most certainly rivals it. I’ve reached for this primer pretty much every day since receiving it at the start of the month and it amazes me how smooth it makes my skin. Bye bye pores and imperfections!
I have tried and tested my fair amount of mascaras, I always go for the lengthening formulas as I have relatively short lashes but they are full.. Any sort of volumising mascara just gives me that spider leg look and let’s face it, no one wants that! This mascara is great at separating and lengthening my lashes so whenever I am doing my makeup I’m always torn between this and my Maybelline Lash Sensational. My only problem with this mascara is the wand as it’s much longer on one side.. It’s more my fault than the wand really, I have a habit of twisting the wand as applying mascara and keep poking myself in the eye.. Well done me haha.
I have always been a solid eyeshadow kinda girl so I haven’t given this a proper testing yet.. If anything I’m a little scared to just in case it ends up everywhere! That aside the pigment is lovely.. It blends nicely, doesn’t seem to crease and because this shade is quite light it’s a perfect shade for a base colour. I always opt for a smokey eye and recently I’ve become braver with my colour choices. I’d love to have a whole day where I can just play around with different eye looks and practice my winged eyeliner! Would makeup looks be something you’d like to see?
So far I’m really impressed with the products I was sent and I’d love to do a full face of makeup review in the future so watch this space!
