H&M Wishlist | Spring/Summer 2014

Whenever I buy clothes I always get them from New Look or Primark as I can get a lot for my money… Until recently! I always assumed H&M to be expensive for some strange reason and never browsed their site, so I was a little bored last night and decided to have a look through some clothing websites and obviously, H&M was one of them! I didn’t think I would find so much for so little money, it’s incredible. So here are a few pieces that caught my eye and will hopefully be flying into my wardrobe very soon! I know there’s not a lot of colours however it’s good to have basics right?

Solus Lupus Wish List

Recently I signed up to The Blogger Programme (join up here) where they connect bloggers and brands together. I have found quite a few brands that sound absolutely amazing and I will be doing a wish list type of thing for all of them. Today’s post is on Solus Lupus, which is a store with absolutely gorgeous jewellery pieces.

About Solus Lupus

Solus Lupus was started in the late summer of 2013 by Paris and co-owner Erin. However this isn’t the first online store Paris has owned, it all started off in the days of Myspace. Where she sold homemade jewellery and custom hair extensions but of course that lasted as long as Myspace was popular. Fast forward two years, Paris went on to start up an Etsy store called ‘Thousand Confessions’. However, in early 2013 she stopped using Etsy due to the limitations of being able to expand her store. Which left her time to research ways to expand her business further and that was where ‘Solus Lupus’ began.
If you’ve been with me for a while then you will know that I adore jewellery, especially necklaces and bracelets! They’re a great way to liven up an outfit or change the look of it, which is why I found going through Solus Lupus so fun! Also, did I mention that a lot of their items were homemade?!
So here are the items that caught my eye…
Wire Wrapped Rose Amethyst Necklace ($20)
This is the first thing I spotted and without a doubt my favourite! Each stone is hand selected depending on the size and colour, wrapped in a gold or silver wire depending on your choice then put onto a gold or silver 30″ chain again depending on your choice. I think this is such a pretty necklace and would add an elegant touch to any outfit.
Spikey Necklace ($14)
The one thing I lack in my jewellery collection is a statement necklace and I think this would be perfect for me as it would add an edgy look to an outfit and it is not too big and bulky which is something that usually puts me off of statement necklaces.
Three Point Spike Necklace ($12)
Yet another spiky necklace! I fell in love with this necklace for two reasons. One its spikes and two it’s a dangle type necklace, I find these sort of necklaces so pretty because they move around on their own which usually means they catch the light quite nicely.
Infinity Bracelet ($8)
I have quite small wrists so I prefer the more dainty of bracelets otherwise if it’s too big and bulky it just looks silly. Which is why I like this bracelet because it’s on a simple silver chain which will move with your wrist instead of being too loose and forever falling off!
I plan to make all these items mine in the near future and I hope you check out their site because there are so many more amazing items on offer!

Sugar + Style Wish List

I was contacted by Sugar + Style a few weeks ago asking me to join their blogging program (you can join up here) so naturally after I signed up I had a little browse of their items and they have a great selection! No matter what your style is you’ll be able to find at least one item to match your style!

About Sugar + Style

The mastermind behind Sugar + Style is Nhuc, (follow her on Twitter and Instagram) she started up Sugar + Style as an online boutique just as a hobby which soon turned into a full time job. She did all the work from selecting the stock all the way up to working out the accounts. Two years on, Nhuc is looking to expand her store further by opening a pop-up store in Westfield over the Christmas holidays but that cannot happen without the funding! Recently Nhuc and her assistant, Sophie have started a campaign on wearethemillion.com (check out their campaign here) where they are hoping to raise £1500 to make that dream come true! This is here you come in, if you have an odd £5 or more that you wont miss then please pop it into their fund, they have some fantastic offers to say thank you depending on how much you give! I will be adding some of my own money into their business once payday gets around because I think they are a fantastic business and I can see them going far!

Here are three items that caught my eye!

Jessie – Black and Pink Aztec Cut-Out Dress (£20)
Up until recently I was never much of a dress kind of girl, I’d live and die in leggings, jeans and shorts however as I’m getting older and my style is changing I love dresses! I love this one for the print alone, it is quite unusual for me to like anything with such a bold print however because it is just 2 colours, it’s not scaring me as much. An outfit that springs to mind is this dress, my black leather jacket from New Look, black tights and some ankle boots.

Anabel – Black Studded Blouse (£28)
Again, not something that I would usually pick however I need to step out of my comfort zone and try out different styles and trends. However what attracted me was the gold studded collar and cuffs, also a detail that I didn’t notice until I read the write up was that the buttons we’re little skulls! Anything that is studded or has skulls on adds a hint of edginess to any outfit, even if it is just leggings and flats.

Morgan – Red Check Studded Blouse (£36)
I have an absolute obsession with checked shirts and this one has studs on the pockets!! Which pushes it to the top of my favourite checked shirt list! My favourite way to wear checked shirts, especially red ones is with a beanie hat, leather jacket, leggings, and combat boots, I think it looks quite edgy and stylish but still comfortable!

My New Look Wishlist | Autumn 2013

As the Autumn is slowly creeping in I thought I would head on over to newlook.com and have a little look around and to my surprise there were quite a few items that caught my fancy! Over the summer I couldn’t find anything that I liked in-store or on their website so I just gave up however they have delivered this season!

Black Leather-Look Waterfall Jacket – £39.99
So I’m going to begin with my most favourite item. I have been wanting a leather/leather-look jacket for months however they have always been stiff looking. I like to be able to move my arms around freely instead of being restricted. The sleeves are made of a jersey material so I know that I’ll be able to flail my arms around freely! Another feature that I love about this jacket is the waterfall front because I don’t like to zip up jackets I always leave them open so I’m glad that it has replaced the zip with this lovely detail.
Black Honeycomb Knit Longline Boyfriend Cardigan – £19.99
I am in love with this cardigan for many reasons. One is the fact that it is a ‘boyfriend’ cardigan which means it will be nice and slouchy for those days when you just want to curl up on the sofa and be all snug also the type of knit that it is. I love knitted cardigans but most of them are either too chunky or to thin but this one is smack bang in the middle for me because I know it’s going to keep me warm and cosy and not swallow me!
Hudson and Rose Stone Mini Cable Knit Jumper – £17.99
I don’t usually like light coloured jumpers but there is something about this one that I can’t help but love! It just looks so warm and snugly and with the colder weather setting in that’s exactly what I’m going to need! Also I have learnt my lesson from last Autumn/Winter I was ill quite a bit and I put that down to wearing just a t-shirt and a hoodie so this year I’m doing things differently!
Burgundy Leather-Look Trim Boucle Jumper – £19.99
Another jumper that caught my eye, I’m really into burgundy at the moment it just makes me feel warmer for some reason plus its a colour that is going to be quite popular throughout Autumn/Winter.
Burgundy Zip Front Dress – £19.99
As soon as I seen this dress I knew I had to have it! It’s quite unusual for me to like a dress like this because it looks very red, I always go for the darker colours however there is just something that I adore about this dress. I love the front zip, I think it’ll makes it easier to be able to change it from a casual to formal dress.
Red T-Shirt Skater Dress – £14.99
Yet another quite vibrant dress! I really am trying to get out of the habit of just wearing black clothes because it is quite boring to be honest. I love the look of this dress, I think it would make a great little outfit if you’re going to a party or just meeting up with friends.
2Pk Burgundy and Black Ankle Length Leggings – £12.99
I’ve decided that I am a lot more comfortable in  leggings than I am in jeans. Simply because my legs look a bit sausage like in jeans and I can’t stand having to wiggle into skinny jeans anymore so I have converted to wearing leggings which are 110% more comfortable!
Black Cut Out Panel Buckle Ankle Boots – £24.99
I think I might start dribbling if I look at these any longer! They are actually beautiful (to me anyway!) I was looking for some boots to possibly go with the dresses above and I think these would be perfect! One of the dresses, the black jacket, black tights and these = PERFECTION! My style is quite simple to be fair however I know these would go with a lot of other things in my wardrobe!
Charcoal Grey Floral Snood – £7.99
I don’t own a snood yet and I love this one because it is has roses, its grey and black and the design is really nice. Unlike most rose printed scarfs it doesn’t look gaudy and it will be easy to pair with nearly anything
Red and Pink Baroque Rose Print Scarf – £7.99
Now I know this completely contradicts me saying that I dislike ‘in your face’ scarfs but there is something that I can’t help but love this scarf. I like how there is a mixture of red and pink roses and it’ll be perfect when I want to add a pop of colour if I’m wearing pretty much all one colour.
2Pk Black 40 Denier Tights – £4.99
I go through tights like it’s nobodies business simply because I always end up catching them with either my nails or jewellery so I always stock up on tights however I have never bought any tights from New Look. I’ve always bought them in Primark because they’re cheap and cheerful. Also, these are a two pack so if they’re better than the Primark ones then I can stock up on them!
Black Quilted Twist Lock Purse – £9.99
I have been looking for a new purse for quite some time and this one stood out to me like a sore thumb! I love the gold detail and the fact that it has a twist lock, I’m forever finding notes at the bottom of my bag from when it falls out of my purse. Which as you can imagine is quite a scary feeling when you realise you’ve somehow lost £40 between walking from an ATM to Costa before going on a shopping trip with the girls!

Are there any items you have your little beady eye on? All I can say is that I cannot wait until payday!
